Prescriber – MAT Program – Posting #18-082

Major Duties:

This position works under the supervision of the Program Director and is responsible for, prescribing and monitoring of medications and maintaining compliance of the MAT program with all applicable county, state and federal codes.  In fulfilling these duties, the incumbent performs the following duties:

  1. Develop and review of standing orders for appropriate clients;
  2. Maintain all required charting paperwork requirements as defined by agency contracts or payer requirements;
  3. Refer clients to other health care services and facilities when appropriate;
  4. Coordinate with chemical dependency professionals regarding client care;
  5. Provides consultation as requested by other programs in the agency or by the agency as a whole; and
  6. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


  1. Possess and maintain a current State medical license (ARNP, MD, or PA);
  2. Possess a current DEA credential with the ability to prescribe Suboxone;
  3. Ability to maintain client confidentiality;
  4. Good verbal and written communication skills;
  5. Great attendance; and
  6. Ability to work well with others.
